Exercise helps to get the blood flowing, and the nerve endings responding. Exercise is also said to tone the intestines, in order to help get rid of constipation. Walking is an excellent form or exercise, in order to clear up constipation. Walking not only keeps the blood flowing, but it also tones the mid-section.
